DIY Boho Floral Crown {Winnipeg Glamour Photographer}

Perfect for a Bohemian wedding, this Floral Crown DIY is quick and easy to assemble. And, if Boho-chic is not what you're after, the crown works well as a photography prop or flower girl crown.

Here's how I made a flower crown for a beautiful bridal couture shoot last Saturday.

Step 1) Choose fabric flowers from your local craft store or Michaels with complimenting colors and a fabric headband.

Step 2) Use wire cutters to cut the stems, leave an inch for gluing; they can be trimmed later.

Step 3) Use a hot glue gun to glue the stems in place around the headband. I used wax paper to protect my surface and for easy clean up after.

*The fabric headband will give you some movement later on so that you can slide your flowers in place as per the amount of give on the headband. Also, using flowers with wire stems instead of plastic will also give you flexibility later on to angle the flowers.

Step 4) Continue gluing flowers around the headband until the fabric is no longer visible.

And voila! You have a gorgeous flower crown!

So, Bohemian wedding aside, what would you use this floral crown for?
I'd love to hear your ideas in the comments!
